Pharos Architectural Controls will showcase its latest innovations in dynamic architectural lighting control at Light + Building 2026 (8th – 13th March 2026). Visitors to stand 8.0 B80 will be able to explore the latest developments in their Designer and Expert product ranges, and get a preview of their future-ready concepts that signal the company’s continued evolution.
The stand will highlight the Pharos approach to delivering powerful, dynamic control for DMX and DALI installations. Attendees will be able to learn about the newest developments across the Pharos Designer platform, which continues to grow as a highly integrated and scalable solution for complex lighting environments. Recent enhancements include improved DMX recording workflows and expanded eDMX pass through functionality, reinforcing Designer’s position as a robust and adaptable control system.
Pharos will also preview the forthcoming Designer 2.16 release. This update introduces support for the new Pharos RIO 84, a cost effective, low profile plastic DIN rail device offering eight input ports, four output ports and a multi protocol serial port.
Designer 2.16 will additionally provide native in app integration with Advatek PixLite Mk3 controllers, fixture status monitoring for RDM capable installations via Pharos Cloud, trigger rate limiting and timeline improvements for audio rows. It will also introduce remote DMX In on RIO 84 and RIO G4, as well as the improved option of a full universe of DMX Out on all RIO serial ports.
Alongside Designer, Pharos will present the latest capabilities of Pharos Expert, the company’s accessible architectural lighting control solution. Expert enables dynamic control of DMX and DALI fixtures in an intuitive and cost-effective way while remaining adaptable to a wide range of project requirements. Expert 2.0 introduced functionality for users seeking more control flexibility, including groups that allow fixtures to be organised logically within mixed environments for targeted control via the Expert Touch mobile app or touchscreen wall stations. Expanded scene and timeline capabilities offer more nuanced playback options, while support for the Pharos RIO D4 enables systems to incorporate multiple independent DALI interfaces, supporting extensive luminaire counts alongside DMX output without compromise.
As well as Pharos solutions for today, the team will offer visitors a first look at several future concepts currently in development. These early previews reflect the company’s ongoing investment in innovative controls, along with its commitment to delivering future ready solutions for the architectural lighting market.
Jack Neill, Product Director at Pharos, said: “Light + Building is always an important moment for us, and we’re excited to show how Pharos is evolving. Our latest developments in Designer, Expert, and our future ready concepts reflect a clear commitment to giving lighting professionals the powerful, flexible tools they need to realise ever more ambitious projects.”
Pharos looks forward to welcoming attendees to Light + Building 2026 and sharing how its evolving solutions portfolio continues to empower designers, integrators, and end users with reliable, creative, and forward-thinking lighting control.
