KAMIC Group has acquired all shares in emergency lighting specialist P4 Limited and Lux Box Lighting Technology Ltd.

P4 have been market leaders in designing and manufacturing self-testing emergency lighting, exit signage, and converting mains luminaires to self-testing emergency lighting for over 30 years while Lux Box specialises in the design, development, and manufacture of quality emergency lighting components for the OEM market.

The two companies are now part of KAMIC Group’s Installation business area under the leadership of Johan Karlsson, who comments: “P4 and Luxbox have a niche product offering and employees with deep technical expertise, and there are few competitors who can deliver products of equally high quality. The acquisition provides a real broadening and strengthening of our existing offer in evacuation technology and emergency lighting.”

The companies will continue to operate from their base in Fakenham, Norfolk with all executives continuing in their respective roles after the ownership change. Rob Warner, Managing Director of P4 Limited and Lux Box Lighting Technology comments on the deal: “We are very pleased to join KAMIC Group. We see a bright future for the companies, and in KAMIC Group we have a financially stable long-term owner who can support us with contacts, expertise and tools for continued business development.”
