BELL Lighting has announced the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) as its official Charity of the Year, strengthening its commitment to supporting individuals and families across the electrical and energy sector.

The partnership will enable the EIC to expand the support it provides to people throughout the industry, helping more individuals and families access vital services when they need them most.

As a business that has been part of the electrical industry for more than a century, BELL Lighting is committed to playing an active role in supporting the sector beyond the products and services it provides.

Adopting the EIC as its official charity partner forms part of BELL’s wider commitment to being a responsible business and making a positive contribution to the industry, its people and the communities it serves.

Through fundraising and other activities across the business, BELL will help the EIC continue its work while raising awareness of the assistance available to people throughout the industry.

Philip Holt, Sales & Commercial Director at BELL Lighting, says: “The electrical industry has given a great deal to BELL Lighting over more than 100 years, so it’s important to us that we find meaningful ways to give something back.

The EIC is a fantastic organisation doing incredibly important work for people across our industry, often at times when they need support the most. I’ve seen first-hand the difference that support can make, and I’m delighted that BELL is building on and expanding our relationship with the charity.

This isn’t about one event or one fundraising initiative. We’re building on our existing relationship with the EIC, involving people from across BELL and looking at how we can make a positive contribution over the longer term.”

BELL Lighting has supported the EIC for several years through a variety of fundraising activities.

Kate Adamczyk, Director of Marketing and Business Development at the Electrical Industries Charity, says: “This partnership with BELL Lighting will play a vital role in helping us extend our reach and ensure even more people across the electrical and energy industry can access the support they need.

We are delighted to continue our relationship with BELL and look forward to working together towards our shared goal of supporting the thousands of individuals and families who rely on our services.”
