Showlight comes to Spain in 2029

Showlight is excited to announce that its next edition, Showlight 2029, will be held at Palacio de Congresos de Granada in Granada, Spain, from 23rd – 26th April 2029.

Headline sponsors for the event will be lighting manufacturers Ayrton and SGM, which will host the 12^th edition of this popular lighting quadrennial. 

Showlight’s organisers say: “Showlight changes its location with every edition and Granada has been chosen after considerable research into suitable locations. We feel it is a prime setting to continue Showlight’s journey after the immensely successful return of Showlight 2025 in Dijon, France.”

Granada is a very walkable city with squares surrounded by cafes and streets full of tapas bars. In short, just the kind of location, atmosphere and convivial environment that suits Showlight and its delegates.

Taking place once every four years, Showlight offers an eclectic programme of presentations from lighting professionals across many disciplines but delivers much more besides. The schedule is carefully planned to allow plenty of opportunities to network and socialise between sessions, during evening dinners, cultural visits, and at the grand Conference Dinner on the event’s final evening (the location of which is never revealed until the day, and never disappoints!)

Nowhere else can established lighting designers and industry professionals, manufacturers, students and young practitioners mingle and exchange ideas in such a relaxed environment.
