Glamox supplies connected LED luminaires for Mercedes-Benz’s showroom refurb in Łódź, Poland

Auto-Studio Łódź, in the Widzew district of Łódź, Poland, recently completed the modernisation and refurbishment of its Mercedes-Benz studio, bringing it up to the Mercedes-Benz MAR 20X standard. This is a set of strict quality requirements for luxury Mercedes-Benz showrooms.

Helping to achieve this prestigious standard, Glamox supplied more than 500 connected LED luminaires for the project, providing lighting for the main hall, office spaces, and guest lounge, as well as showrooms for passenger cars and vans. It also supplied luminaires for general lighting and emergency lighting.

“To determine the perfect lighting for the showroom, we worked closely with Auto-Studio Łódź to address changes in ceiling heights and to select the most appropriate luminaire colours and temperatures,” said Michał Banasiak, Project Manager at Glamox.

“We collaborated with the lighting designer, architect, and contractor to find both functional and aesthetic solutions, which resulted in an exceptionally stylish and superbly lit showroom,” added Banasiak.

The specific delivery included stylish pendant lighting and linear lighting, recessed downlights and spots, and slim profile ceiling lights, as well as functional linear luminaires, emergency escape route lighting, and illuminated emergency exit signs.  The luminaires have a CRI >80 and either a 3,000K or 4,000K colour temperature. In addition to the lighting, Glamox provided Glamox Ethernet2DALI control systems.
