Our Client, a privately owned British designer and manufacturer of cutting edge Lighting Control systems is looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow their market share within the sales region. You will be working closely with M&E Consultants and Contractors on a wide range of commercial projects, following through until completion, as well as generating new opportunities for projects within the area. The ideal candidate will have strong contacts at senior level within the specifiers in the area, and the ability to influence these contacts, a knowledge of the Lighting and/or Lighting controls sector and an interest in the latest smart building technologies, with a proven track record in specification sales.

Area Sales Manager

Our Client a well known, well respected & fast growing leading British designer and producer of contemporary lighting, is looking for a talented retail sales professional to manage and grow their distributor network in an area covering London, East Anglia, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Beds, Herts, Bucks, Berks, Oxon and Hants.
You will selling their range of quality interior, exterior and architectural lighting to their wholesaler and independent retailer clients managing and nurturing these existing accounts whilst also looking for new opportunities to bring new retailers and wholesalers on board.

Our client, a British manufacturer of quality electrical products, is looking for an Area Sales Manager. You will be selling their range of electrical products to wholesalers and contractors across the area, managing established existing accounts, whilst bringing new business on board. The ideal candidate will have an electrical sales background, either for a manufacturer or a wholesaler, with a proven track record and a hunger to succeed

Our client is a well established and reputable £m/m distributor of high quality lighting and electrical components including transformers, capacitors, control gear and LED drivers.
This exciting and new opportunity represents expansion and requires an enthusiastic and dynamic salesperson to develop sales into independent electrical wholesalers and small/ medium sized contractors throughout London & South East.
The ideal candidate will be from the industry, comfortable with a heavy new business focus, hungry, motivated to earn, and prepared to put the graft in to develop business. Expansion has created this exciting opportunity with a well-established £multi-million distributor of leading lighting brands that offer an excellent service of quality products but also a bespoke/ custom solution to suit the requirements.
You will be selling a range of lighting components including optics, heatsinks, light sources and drivers throughout the UK managing existing customers and developing new business with lighting OEM accounts The role ideally requires strong sales skills for components and the development of LED product solutions for OEMs.

Business Development Manager – commercial lighting to M&E contractors
£35,000 – £45,000 basic + open ended commission + Company car/allowance, pension + profit share
Our client, a well established lighting SME, is expanding again and seeking a lighting sales professional experienced in selling to M&E contractors throughout London & South East.
You will be selling mid to high end lighting solutions to contractors on D&B projects and various applications from commercial fit outs to residential, education and healthcare applications. The Company has a lot of existing and repeat business built up through long standing relationships and an all encompassing service offering high quality
solutions at competitive prices and project management support throughout the contract.
This is an exciting position to become a key player within the business working closely with the hands on MD and generating profitable turnover from your sales activity. The ideal candidate will be a proactive salesman, experienced in lighting sales and confident of your contractor contacts. £40,000-£45,000 basic + open ended comm/bonus + car allowance + pension
Exciting times ahead for this well established manufacturer whose core business is high end architectural/commercial lighting solutions sold to architects, designers and M&E consultants throughout the UK for prestigious projects within hospitality, retail and commercial and high end residential applications.
You will be spearheading the launch of a new range of quality commercial lighting products including downlights to consultants, M&E contractors and D&B contractors throughout London & South East.
This represents a unique career opportunity for a proactive, motivated construction sales professional to take ownership of this competitive, well-engineered portfolio of products with huge potential. You will be given an existing pipeline of projects and introduced to existing clients but growth will be delivered by your focussed energy in business development and generating your own leads within this sector.
