Operations/ Business Manager

£30,000 – £50,000 basic + performance bonus

Exciting new opportunity to join this well known Company operating within the Electrical & Lighting industry. As the Operations Manager you will take full responsibility and day to day management of the business, liaising with suppliers, negotiating contracts, supporting the business development requirements and managing the team. You will also ensure that the business communicates all compliance/ legislation requirements and amendments internally and externally to the customer base. As the Business Manager you will represent the Company at exhibitions and trade shows and attend Board meetings to report on operations and sales performance.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced lighting professional with good all round knowledge of the industry, manufacturers, lighting products, components and the supply chain. You should have proven man management skills, financially astute, capable of negotiating with customers and subcontractors to secure commercially viable projects.

Location: Midlands (Birmingham/ Stoke) with occasional site visits


Senior Commercial Manager

£50,000 – £55,000 basic + Company car + pension + company bonus

Fantastic opportunity to become a key figure within this established electrical Company as the Senior Manager responsible for all commercial aspects within the business including contractual issues, health & safety, HR, quality management and operational matters.

Your responsibilities will include managing the tender process, working closely with the bid team on £m/m framework agreements and contracts, conducting technical meetings with customers and suppliers as well as dealing with the day to day contractual issues. As the focal point for HR and H&S issues you will need to ensure that all policies and procedures are maintained and comply with current or impending legislation. The ideal candidate will be a confident and proactive Commercial Manager with significant experience and knowledge of contract law as well as compiling and submitting detailed tenders/ framework agreements. The key criteria for this position is experience of compiling and reading contracts, dealing with the T&Cs, getting contracts ready to submit ensuring detailed accuracy, compliance and commercial viability.

Business Development Manager –Commercial lighting solutions

c£42,000 – £45,000 basic + high commission + Company car + benefits

Brand new opportunity to become a BDM for this well-established Manufacturer of technical luminaires – selling the groups range of commercial lighting and corporate interior lighting to architects, designers, consultants and contractors, working on diverse applications including hotels, offices, HQs, education, residential and retail.

Project Sales Manager – North West

£35,000 – £45,000 Basic + uncapped commission + car allowance/ lease car + pension

Our Client, a well backed, growing British manufacturer of quality lighting products, is looking for a proven and successful project sales professional to cover the North West area.

You will be promoting and selling their range of commercial and industrial lighting to M & E Contractors, Consultants and Architects generating new business from your contacts whilst nurturing existing relationships. The ideal candidate will be from a lighting project sales background with good contacts within M&E contractors & consultants in the North West, with a proven track record of success. You will also ideally be LIA qualified, skilled in Relux, a competent user of MS Office and Salesforce or similar CRM system.


OEM Sales Manager – Luminaires & Components

£40,000 – £60,000 Basic + Executive Company Car/Allowance + Laptop + Phone

Our Client a well-established UK based manufacturer of quality Lighting and Components is looking for an established OEM Account Manager to cover the UK. You will be selling a range of Luminaires and Components to OEM accounts across the country, whilst bringing new accounts on board with the business. The ideal candidate will come from a component/electrical/lighting background, be an experienced technical salesperson able to build relationships and negotiate at a senior level within key lighting OEM’s. You should be aware of emerging technologies, new product developments and able to confidently talk about industry trends and innovations.


Regional Sales Manager – Electrical Products to Wholesalers

£45,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Generous Car Allowance

The ideal candidate will be selling internal or external commercial lighting into industrial end users, or you will have contractor contacts that are involved in D&B projects. Area Sales Manager – Electrical Sales to Contractors/Wholesalers

London & South East

£35,000 – £37,500 Basic + bonus + Car Allowance + Pension

Our Client, a well-established European manufacturer of quality electrical products, is looking for a proven and successful sales specialist to develop their business with contractors and wholesalers in London and the South East. You will be promoting and selling their range of Cable Management

products to contractors and wholesalers across the area growing the businesses’ market share whilst generating new opportunities and creating brand awareness. Product Designer – c£30,000 – £35,000 + benefits – Central London

Fantastic new opportunity to utilise your product design background within this Global manufacturer providing innovative, creative and custom made commercial and architectural LED lighting solutions.

You will be collaborating with teams across the business to develop market leading LED products and will be involved in all aspects from basic scoping, design concepts to prototypes and mass production – supplying detailed engineering drawings, accurate BoMs, product designs and analysis of test data. You will be involved in the design of standard and custom made lighting products as well as components, mechanisms and sub assemblies.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced product design engineer (lighting or related) from a manufacturing background fully aware of the processes including sheet metal fabrication, extrusions, die casting and mouldings). Ideally degree qualified (Mechanical Engineering/ Product Design), you will be competent in SolidWorks, 3D CAD with exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
