National Sales Manager

Our Client, a well established supplier of high quality Lighting products has over 20 years experience in the development and delivery of cost effective, technically excellent lighting solutions to specifiers, contractors, designers and local authorities. Part of a large manufacturing group, our client is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to provide strategic leadership to their national team of experienced project engineers, to nurture and grow the Company’s market share across the UK.

As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for developing the customer base, and defining and delivering the sales for growth in the Projects business. You will also be expected to continue to develop and maintain professional sales processes and the highest levels of customer relationships management, as well as contributing ideas to ensure the business grows in line with the agreed business plan.

OEM Sales Manager – Lighting/ electrical

Business Development Manager – Retail Lighting Solutions

£35,000 – £45,000basic + commission scheme + fully expensed BMW or car allowance, laptop, phone

Our client, a specialist retail lighting manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic lighting salesperson to further develop sales into this sector securing refurbishment and roll out contracts within London & South East.

You will be offering competitive, innovative and customised solutions to retailers, working closely with them and fully understanding their branding ambitions. Working with retail designers, store development teams and consultants throughout the region you will be involved with business development, lead generation, on site visits, presentations, offering alternative solutions and running a profitable sales region. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, creative and outgoing lighting salesperson with exposure in selling solutions to retail end users. You should be comfortable and thrive in a small close knit success-driven team and thrive on winning business and developing contacts.

Area Sales Manager – Sales to local authorities/main contractors

£40,000 – £42,000 basic + achievable £10,000 bonus + Company car, pension, laptop, mobile

Our client, a well-established Manufacturer of technical road safety equipment is seeking an experienced sales professional to sell its range of LED lighting, illuminated signs and equipment  throughout London & South East.

You will be promoting and selling the quality range of British manufactured products to  local authorities, street lighting engineers, highway agencies and main contractors for various signage and illumination applications, including roads,  car parks, footbridges, offices and warehouses.

The ideal candidate will be a technical salesperson experienced in LED lighting and selling to road traffic engineers within local authorities, able to present and sell products, develop business relationships and manage a large sales territory effectively OR a street lighting engineer or lighting project manager with good product knowledge seeking a move into external sales. Related backgrounds including technical sales to contractors, signage experience, similar products sold to local authorities will all be considered.

Sales Region: London, Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hants

Senior Product Designer (Architectural Lighting Fittings)

£38,000 – £55,000 basic + bonus, pension, health insurance + career development

Our client is a well-established, expanding designer & Manufacturer of architectural light fittings and is seeking an experienced, practical Product Designer  with 5-10 years + lighting industry experience to assist in this next phase of growth

This career opportunity represents a key role within the business; as a Senior member of the technical team working alongside the Design Director you will be expected to add-value offering creative flair, engineering solutions and full industry compliance. To join this vibrant and dynamic business you will need to be ambitious, keen to have an impact where the time from design to market can be very short. The ideal candidate will be experienced in: designing architectural lighting products (int/ext); NPD and specials; R&D and compliance testing; competent in Solidworks, Photometric and design software; tooling development, sourcing of components and product costings – together with a ‘can do’ attitude and engaging personality. Lighting Scheme Designer – Intermediate or aspiring Junior

£25,000 – £32,000 basic + benefits

Based in South East London, you will be working for an innovative design Consultancy offering custom product design and scheme solutions for prestigious projects around the world including hospitality, retail and high end residential.

As part of the technical design team you will be working on projects of varying sizes and complexities and will be responsible for the production of concept presentations, layout drawings and details, specifications, switching arrangements and control strategies. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years experience with an independent design Consultancy with excellent AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and DIALux skills. An understanding of 3D Visualisation programmes and BIM/Revit would also be advantageous but not essential.  Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
