Business Development Manager – Retail Lighting Solutions

Our client, a specialist retail lighting manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic lighting salesperson to further develop sales into this sector securing refurbishment and roll out contracts within London & South East.

You will be offering competitive, innovative and customised solutions to retailers, working closely with them and fully understanding their branding ambitions. Working with retail designers, store development teams and consultants throughout the region you will be involved with business development, lead generation, on site visits, presentations, offering alternative solutions and running a profitable sales region.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, creative and outgoing lighting salesperson with exposure in selling solutions to retail end users. You should be comfortable and thrive in a small close knit success-driven team and thrive on winning business and developing contacts.

Senior Product Designer (Architectural Lighting Fittings)

£38,000 – £45,000 basic + bonus, pension, health insurance + career development

Our client is a well-established, expanding designer & Manufacturer of architectural light fittings and is seeking an experienced, practical Product Designer  with 5 years + lighting industry experience to assist in this next phase of growth

As an industry professional with knowledge of LEDs, drivers, power supplies and emerging technology (+ lighting standards) you will use your combination of a creative/ engineering background to design, develop and create innovative lighting products of the future as well as enhancing the existing portfolio. Awareness of market trends, market needs and commercial viability are essential in any NPD as well as offering technical support to the sales and production teams including liaison with customers consisting of architects & designers.

This career opportunity represents a key role within the business; as a Senior member of the technical team working alongside the Design Director you will be expected to add-value offering creative flair, engineering solutions and full industry compliance. To join this vibrant and dynamic business you will need to be ambitious, keen to have an impact where the time from design to market can be very short. The ideal candidate will be experienced in: designing architectural lighting products (int/ext); NPD and specials; R&D and compliance testing; competent in Solidworks, Photometric and design software; tooling development, sourcing of components and product costings – together with a ‘can do’ attitude and engaging personality.

Interior designers Sales Manager  – Architecturally designed lighting

£35,000 – £47,000 basic + Commission + pension + benefits

Our client, a well established Technical Lighting Manufacturer is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic sales professional to sell to the interior design and interior architect market sector in London.

You will be selling a quality range of architectural luminaires and offering innovative interior/exterior solutions to interior designers, architects and lighting designers. The product portfolio is client led with up to 80% of the range as specials/ bespoke fittings so close working relationships are required to understand, appreciate the needs of the design in order to deliver the correct concept. Rapport building skills, passion and enthusiasm, creative thinking, innovative special design are all key features when collaborating with the designers.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced design-focussed salesperson used to selling into this market sector. You should be a dynamic, lateral thinker, able to build relationships, offer solutions and manage numerous projects through to completion.

Project Sales Manager (London & Home Counties) – Bespoke Lighting Solutions

£30,000 – £50,000 basic + Commission + Company Car + expense account

Our client, a well-established designer and manufacturer of lighting solutions is seeking a pro-active sales professional to further develop specification sales.

You will be offering lighting solutions and bespoke made lighting products to architects, designers and consultants for a variety of applications including commercial, educational and industrial. The service of unique UK manufactured solutions is supported by excellent technical back up, full CAD/ scheme support with on going communication throughout the design and production process.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, determined, able to sell solutions to the specifiers and be pro-active in their approach. You could be either an experienced lighting sales professional used to selling to A&D, M&E Consultants within London, with a good understanding of the manufacturing service  or a product designer with sales skills looking to expand your career further. Key to your success will be an appreciation of manufacturing/product design, awareness of commercial viability of products, what can/ cannot  be manufactured (ideally supported by relevant technical qualifications together with CAD, Excel, Dialux skills)

Contractor focussed Project Sales Manager – Commercial Lighting

£35,000 – £45,000 basic + excellent bonus scheme, pension, laptop, mobile, expenses

Our client, a well-established lighting designer & manufacturer, is seeking a proven and successful salesperson to become an integral part of this expanding division.

You will be selling a quality range of competitive products to contractors and consultants within London: managing accounts, building new relationships and enhancing existing ones. With full management support and the backing of a lighting design department and quotations/ estimating team you can fully focus your time on building up the project pipeline.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident lighting salesperson. You should have good contacts with contractors and sub contractors in London. You may now be seeking more autonomy and rewards for your efforts or the opportunity to network with accounts that have been unavailable to you so far.
