Two day event explores the Digital Signage ecosystem

The full conference programme for DSS Europe is now available for viewing on the DSS Europe website. It promises to deliver the most compelling content to date in the event’s 11-year history when it takes place in early July.

According to DSS Europe Chairman, Florian Rotberg, Digital Signage, Retail Technology, Smart Cities and DooH all operate within the same technological and business ecosystem.  “We will show where these sectors overlap, what can be learned and the business opportunities that will come into play,” he said. “We have crystalised this into the theme of, Digital Signage at the Crossroads – New Technology, Changing Demand and Market Consolidation. Understanding where this business is going has never been more exciting or more necessary.

Through a mix of plenary sessions, presentations, case studies, roundtables and workshops over 40 leading experts across two days will identify the latest business and retail marketing strategies that can be employed through the use of Digital Signage and DooH technologies.

One recurring theme will be how retail ‘bricks and mortar’ businesses can stay one step ahead of online competition. “There will be a specific focus on the evolutionary role of Digital Signage in an environment that increasingly embraces audio and augmented reality,” said Rotberg.

He continued: “On both days two conference tracks will cover DooH and Smart Cities in one track and Digital Signage and Retail Experiences in the other. Delegates can ‘mix and match’ what they wish to attend or focus on one area. As in previous years we will use case studies to show industry benchmark projects, technologies and marketing strategies. It’s important that what we present is proven and based on real world experience not just theory.”
