Representative of Seoul Metropolitan Government to give a Keynote at PLDC

Young Ho Baik is a Member of the Beneficial Light Committee of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The speaker will elaborate on his work for the City of Seoul and the city’s approach to urban lighting in the interest of the safety, well-being and comfort of the public.

The Cities’ Forum has become a traditional part of the pre-convention meeting day. The Forum provides a platform for knowledge transfer and exchange between city authorities, lighting designers and city planners. The Lighting Urban Community International, LUCI brings together over 70 municipalities on five continents engaged in using light as a tool for sustainable urban development. KTH University Light Symposium Paper Competition

KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, who offer a Master programme in Lighting Design, stage a Light Symposium every two years. KTH is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Light Symposium Paper Competition, LSPC. LSPC targets students, designers and professionals with less than five years’ working experience in the field of lighting design. The selected winners will present a paper to an audience of professionals during the Light Symposium 2018.
