After 52 years of trading in Worcester, Nevitt Lighting will be closing the doors for the last time later this year.
For the owner, Andrew Nevitt, it is time to retire from the business he has helped to run since 1969.
Andrew Nevitt, commented, “We have specialised in quality lighting, mainly for the domestic market but we have also supplied lighting for restaurants, hotels, offices, surgeries and offices.
I have loved all aspects of the business which included importing lighting from France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Sweden and I will be sad to be closing down, but there comes a time when it is right to retire.
We have seen massive changes in the lighting business over the years both in fashions and in technology.”
The business and premises are currently up for sale and it is hoped that someone will take over what is an excellent opportunity to grow the business by adding an online site to complement the showroom.
