Living Lighting Technical Workshop – Helping to Improve the Quality of Lighting

First in a series of one-day technical workshops to help businesses and technical leaders understand some of the key technical challenges facing the lighting industry and to present the latest developments in safety standards and performance metrics. Experts from industry and academia will talk on four areas of popular concern to lighting professionals:

– Flicker – what is an acceptable level? What are the causes, the biological risks, the practical measures?
– Photobiological safety – what are the risks to your eyes, to your skin and how do you measure?
– Glare – tricky, but essential to understand. What is the relationship between glare and the physical parameters?
– Colour rendering – reboot. What is the new TM30 and how can it benefit you?
