Retrofit T8 Dimmable Low Energy Fluorescent Lighting

The only retrofit, dimmable and ultra-low energy T8 fluorescent lighting solution on the market. The Hyperion HT8 does not require any external wiring, can be operated remotely via PIR or timer and a 5ft tube can be dimmed down to 10w making a saving of 86% compared to a standard 5ft T8.

The newly developed, HT8 ultra energy efficient and dimmable retrofit fluorescent tube which can be paired with occupancy detection for use in various situations such as health care, prisons, car parks etc.

Jiles Lighting, the UK supplier of Hyperion lighting products, has introduced a number of new energy efficient fluorescent lighting products to market.

It’s low energy, 40,000 hour dimmable HT8 requires no additional external wiring. This means that the solution can be completed as a simple retrofit for both T8 and T12 fittings.

This new dimmable HT8 can reduce the lighting to a predetermined level of between 10w and 33w for a 5ft tube when the area has not been occupied for a number of minutes. Resulting savings are up to 86%. Lighting returns to full power once movement is detected, further timer options are available too.
