Projection Mapping from the Circle of Light Moscow International Festival in May

From May 8th through May 10th, 2015, the organizers of the Circle of Light Moscow International Festival will demonstrate light shows devoted to the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

The two Moscow landmarks associated with the military history – the Russian Army Theater and Belorussky railway station to which, by the way, all trains from Europe arrive – were selected for the projection mapping. Unique frames from documentaries and cutting edge technologies were used in the mapping to be projected.

The Circle of Light Moscow International Festival is one of the hallmarks of the capital city of Russia. Last year six million people came to see the edition.

In 2015 the next edition of the Moscow Light Festival will take place from September 26th through October 4th, 2015 at number of venues. The Festival will not only offer to enjoy vivid projection mapping on the building facades and light installations but to watch entry works of ART VISION contestants. Teams from 30 countries – Germany, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, UK, France to name a few – will compete to be named the best in projection mapping and VJing. Educational Program with participation of top projection mapping artists and light designers is also part of the Festival.
