Precision Lighting’s Pico LED mini-spotlight focuses on display

Precision Lighting has launched a family of energy-efficient LED mini-spotlights for applications including gallery and retail display lighting. Single and three-up versions of the new Pico LED series weigh in at just 60g to 100g. The new Pico LEDs for track and Monopoints deliver even light distribution and glare control, sharing the same sleek, minimal design aesthetic. Weighing 60g and with a diameter of just 19mm, the Pico 1 LED, for example, offers beam widths of between 12˚ and 40˚ using optics that can be changed on site.

Both the single-source Pico 1 LED and the three-up Pico 3 LED have integral 24V DC drivers and use Precision Lighting’s versatile JackPlug, which enables them to be connected easily to the company’s full range of track systems. The Pico 1 Surface LED is a Monopoint spotlight with a remote 500mA driver and at only 65mm in height is ideal for use in display cabinets.

These versatile little luminaires are lockable in pan and tilt and can be rotated smoothly through 360 degrees. The Pico 1 LED and Pico 1 Surface LED have light outputs of 100 lumens at 1.5 Watts, while the Pico 3 provides 250lm at 3W. All three luminaires use 3000K LEDs with a colour-rendering index of 80CRI as standard but other colour temperatures and 90CRI versions are available on request. The range incorporates integral heat sinks for optimised LED cooling. Standard finishes are brushed aluminium, white and black with custom finishes available on request.
