PLDC 2017: Modernised conference format
The organisers are proud to announce that the conference format for the PLDC Paris edition has been modified and amended in accordance with attendees’ feedback.
While keeping to the traditional four-track conference, the organisers have amended the structure of the conference slightly, so that the audience will only have to select between three papers at the same time, instead of four, as in previous years.
The traditional Research track has been split into two parts to offer independent researchers the chance to present research findings and ongoing studies, and to enable cutting-edge R&D developments that affect the lighting industry and the lighting community to be shared with the PLDC audience. The Research papers will be cut in length to 20 minutes per paper. This modern format is well established in the research field and will offer more researchers the chance to present their findings.
The additional tracks which are Lighting Application Case Studies, Professional Practice and Urban Life 4.0 will again comprise 45 minute presentations.
All speakers will have to submit their paper proposal through the Call for Papers, which will be published on 1st September, 2016.
