Osram concludes strategic partnership with beaconsmind
Osram is collaborating with beaconsmind AG, the first iBeacon full-service provider based in Switzerland, to provide in-store retailers and fashion brands with an immediate end-to-end solution for integrating location-based services (LBS). The portfolio will be presented at the EuroShop trade fair from March 5th to 9th, 2017.
Osram and beaconsmind are providing a glimpse into the future of retail: personalised direct marketing, detailed analyses and integration of sales channels are some of the topics occupying retailers, fashion brands and shopping malls in the digital age. This can now be achieved by all store-based retailers in their shop environment thanks to “Einstone Smart Retail”. This new solution package combines the stable, low-maintenance and constantly powered beacon infrastructure from Osram with an app-based loyalty program, proximity marketing and intelligent customer analyses from software partner beaconsmind. The end-to-end solution can be integrated in the widest variety of POS and CRM systems. Offline and online data is thus integrated intelligently and made available to the retailer by means of a web dashboard.
Apart from gaining a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, retailers are sure to be impressed with the ease of use: intuitive campaign management can be performed in real time using a web dashboard. Advertising messages, such as individualised offers or vouchers, are displayed by means of a mobile app. As soon as the customer then reaches or is in the vicinity of a particular store, messages posted by the retailer pop up in the form of push notifications. Retailers are thus opening up a direct channel to the end customer and can extend their marketing campaigns digitally and precisely based on the location.
