LiGO lighting control shortlisted for Building Technology of the Year

LiGO, an intelligent lighting control system created by Open Technology, has been shortlisted for Building Technology of the Year Award in the BusinessGreen Technology Awards 2015. The award recognises the most innovative and inspiring green building technologies that are working to cut environmental impact and improve building performance.

LiGO is installed in some of the country’s most prestigious and complex buildings. The system consistently achieves up to 40% energy savings for our customers, but is more than just an automated system for turning lights on and off. LiGO is able to control lighting according to a wide range of parameters including available daylight, varying building use, presence detection and time control, through a solution that is simple and cost-efficient.

The BusinessGreen Technology Awards celebrate the most exciting and innovative clean technologies in the UK. The categories cover every facet of the cleantech sector, including awards for the Best App, Solar Innovation, Smart City Technology, and Breakthrough of the Year. An expert panel of independent judges will select the winners and highly commended entries. The winners will be announced on the afternoon of Friday, 27 November.
