Taking place during March 2016 in Frankfurt am Main, Light + Building is the leading international trade fair that delivers the collaboration of two interlinking markets; Lighting & Building Services technology.
An overwhelming number of exhibitor registrations has kick-started the planning for the 2016 edition of Light + Building. From 13th to 18th March 2016, a product showcase will revolve around the latest trends and innovations in the sector. Around 2,400 companies are expected to present and launch their latest products for the fields of lighting, electrical engineering and house and building automation during the six-day event.
Last held in 2014, the biennial event broke visitation records attracting an impressive 210,000 trade visitors. High levels of satisfaction were recorded by a poll taken at the show, highlighting that 98% of trade visitors accomplished their goals at the trade fair in Germany. For the 2016 edition, visitors can expect to connect with an even larger number of international businesses, explore the market’s latest technologies and take advantage of a comprehensive programme of events.
Unrivalled worldwide in terms of both depth and breadth, the product spectrum seen in Frankfurt is spread across 21 exhibitor halls. Expertly designed, exhibitors are placed in product groups helping visitors navigate through the international brands and discover exactly what they require. The diversity of products caters not only for growing expectations in terms of energy efficiency, safety, security, building automation and electrical installations but also design-oriented and decorative lighting for home and contract sectors.
Trade visitors will see lectures, product launches, award presentations and trend forums across the six days. The main themes at the coming fair will be safety and security technology, building information modelling, smart powered buildings and trends in the lighting market. A themed programme, some of which has already been implemented, is being prepared for all trade visitors. Take a look at the 2015/16 home scenario Trendforum, Building Performance lectures, Design Plus competition and future oriented products and Luminale, an evening event for all visitors.
