Harvard has expanded its sales and marketing team to meet growing demand for its products. Barry Bennett joins as sales manager for the North of England and Scotland and Richard Adelsberg joins as marketing executive.

Barry Bennett brings with him a wealth of knowledge and has over 32 years experience in the street lighting industry, including a role as director at Steanne Solutions and 27 years at Cheshire Council as a street lighting engineer. Barry will be based at Harvard’s Leeds office, but will spend a large amount of time travelling throughout the North of England and Scotland to meet customers.

Richard Adelsberg joins the team following 2 years at Blue Chip Marketing in Manchester where he managed key accounts, including The Co-operative Food and O2. He graduated with a 2.1 BA Hons degree in Marketing from The University of Liverpool. His role will involve supporting the sales and marketing director, Michael McDonnell to facilitate further growth throughout the UK and Europe.

The new appointments reflect Harvard’s continued year-on-year success. The company has expanded its range of products, which includes the award winning LeafNut street lighting solution and the award winning CoolLED range of products. LeafNut is being deployed by many Councils across the UK and as far afield as Hobart in Australia. The company also recently opened its European HQ in France to help develop opportunities in the European market.
