Harvard set up new team to meet growing demand

Harvard Engineering is pleased to announce it has set up a new dedicated Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customer facing external sales team to meet growing demand for its products and services.

The OEM sales team will focus on developing driver sales directly with interested companies, as well as Harvard’s newly expanded in-house Custom LED placement service, in the UK and across Europe. 

Tim McKernan, who joins Harvard with a wealth of knowledge of the electronics engineering sector, is heading up the team as OEM sales manager. He is joined by Matt Hanson as OEM sales account manager. Mr. Hanson joined Harvard as a graduate trainee in 2010.

Harvard is constantly seeking to launch new drivers – the latest being a Phase Mains Dimmable driver which allows LEDs to be dimmed – to meet the growing demand from private and public sector companies to maximise energy efficiencies by installing LED lighting. The product is proving to be Harvard’s most successful LED driver, with pre-production sales of over 10,000.

The new team will work in partnership with our UK sales team and our international offices in Italy, France, Australia and Spain to identify OEM opportunities.
