Feilo Sylvania hails Light + Building 2016 a huge success
Feilo Sylvania made its official debut at this year’s Light + Building 2016 (Frankfurt, 13-18 March 2016) to much success. The booth brought in more customers than ever before and was packed full of innovative products from Feilo, Concord, Lumiance and Sylvania along with ground-breaking lighting control solutions from partners Organic Response, Casambi and Gooee.

Feilo Sylvania’s booth highlighted a range of innovative solutions, divided into key application areas – Offices, Logistics & Industry, Museums & Galleries, Retail, Hospitality & Residential and Smart Outdoor Lighting – and illustrating the strength of the Feilo Sylvania brands and its partners. There were also state-of-the-art control solutions on show, including the new Portal from Organic Response that transforms a lighting control system into the eyes and ears of the smart-building via an easy to use web platform. The portal’s capabilities were put to good use by generating live heat-mapping data from the stand, which was then streamed to a large screen for all to see. This proved extremely popular with visitors and even allowed Feilo Sylvania to adapt its booth content after reviewing the data collected after the first day.
Visitors also learned more about the new Feilo Sylvania and Casambi luminaires, which have integrated Bluetooth technology to enable easy control and the creation of a mesh network, allowing luminaires to communicate with each other and act together to form more complex scenes and offer new services. Casambi’s beacon functionality makes it possible for retailers to send personalised discount vouchers to their customers based on their location in the store (and this works even when a mobile phone is on standby in a pocket) or, to help people navigate a museum and trigger multimedia content to play on their smartphone based on their location.
