Building Information Modelling (BIM) is coming to you soon but are you aware of its impact on your working environment?

The LIA in association with the YPO invite you to attend the BIM Initiative Day on 28th March 2017 (10am – 4:30pm) at The LIA, Telford.

Highways England are designing their projects using BIM, which provides them with a comprehensive asset management resource that will have the ability to connect to local authority controlled networks.
• But is the local authority BIM ready?
• Are the suppliers BIM ready?
• Where do you begin with BIM?
• Perhaps you’re already using BIM but need others to catch up with you?

The LIA and YPO invite you to take this opportunity to learn and discuss the issues surrounding the implementation of BIM for the lighting industry and the public sector.

This Initiative covers:
• Industry case studies
• Updates from industry leaders
• Demonstrations of BIM software
• Tour of LIA testing laboratory

Speakers on the day include The LIA’s Peter Hunt, Carl Collins, Digital Engineering Consultant at CIBSE and Richard Hayes, Director at 42 Partners Ltd.

So join the discussion, tickets cost £45 for more information visit www.thelia.org.uk/events/bim-initiative-day
