2015 interiors purchase patterns revealed

May Design Series provide essential insight into the 2015 interiors consumer

Seven out of 10 consumers are planning to make a purchase for their homes in 2015, according to research by UBM, organisers of the May Design Series. When consumers do decide to purchase items for their homes, only 18% are concerned about buying British.

These findings are taken from the Interiors Buying Census, a research study commissioned by the May Design Series team to gain insight into consumer purchase patterns in 2015, which independently surveyed a representative sample of over 2000 UK adults. The report asked which products Brits are planning to purchase for their homes, how and when they plan to buy it, how long the decision process is likely to take, and what the contributing factors to swaying this decision might be.

The key findings have been put into the attached summary, and the full report is available to download from the May Design Series website.

May Design Series will take place at London’s ExCeL from 17-19 May 2015. Registration is now open – to claim your complimentary pass, visit www.maydesignseries.com.
